Thrust on paperless board meetings

Infosapex, an IT solution provider company of Bangladesh arranged a programme on "Digital Transformation: Navigating towards Paperless Board Meeting" on Saturday at the Institution of Diploma Engineers (IDEB) at Kakrail in the city.
Mr. Shyam Sunder Sikder, Secretary, Posts and Telecommunications Division was the chief guest which was arranged in collaboration with Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB).
The president of ICSB, Mr. Mohammad Sanaullah was the session chair of the event, said a statement.
Mr. Md Zakir Hossain, Registrar, The Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC), Mr. Hossain Sadat, Director, Regulatory Affairs and Company Secretary, Grameenphone Ltd., Mr. Sami Ahmed, Component Team Leader(IT/ITES), Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance and Dr. Md. Mostofa Akbar, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) also attended, said a statement.
The program included a keynote speech from the CEO of Infosapex Mr. Md. Imrul Hasan where he discussed about the drawbacks of using papers in the board meetings and how it can be developed by using a software-driven solution which can navigate the board meetings in to a completely paperless environment.
After the keynote presentation a panel discussion was held amongst the respected panel members and later the venue was opened for an open discussion where various important queries were met.
