Thrust on proper HR planning

Awami League lawmaker Junaid Ahmed Polok Thursday said the government should have proper human resources planning for future development of the country.
He was taking part at the 2010-11 budget discussion at parliament.
"We need to know how many people in which profession will be needed in a particular year and without that it is difficult for the government to make proper development planning," he said.
He also emphasized on sending skilled human resources abroad to get more remittance.
Talukder Mohammad Yunus MP of the ruling party proposed to withdraw tax on income from savnings instruments while Enamul Haque of the same party demanded to reduce duty on raw sugar import to Tk 1,000 per tonne from Tk 2,000.
AL lawmaker Manzur Kader Quaraishy warned that no matter how good the budget is, it will be meaningless without proper utilisation.
Mohammad Ziaur Rahman MP of Awami League demanded reduction in toll at the Bangabandhu bridge while Mohammad Manirul Islam wanted rail link between Barisal and Mongla.
Jatiya Party MP Mojibur Rahman said it is difficult to satisfy everybody through the budget as the peoples' expectation is high.
Muhibur Rahman Manik MP from the government party demanded increase in freedom fighter allowance while Omar Faruque Chowdhury proposed to install revenue collection software at the National Board of Revenue.
