The government should promote volunteerism in the country and formulate a national policy to recognise the activities of the volunteers, analysts said.
"We need to focus on volunteerism and help formulation and implementation of policies and programmes for its expansion," Mizanur Rahman Shelley, chairman of Centre for Development Research, Bangladesh said Saturday.
