Thrust on retail banking products for improving lifestyle of individuals

Deputy Managing Director (Administration) of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) Abul Kashem Md Shirin laid emphasis on retail banking products for improving life style of individuals and SME banking for helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow further.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a day-long workshop organised by DBBL on Retail and SME Banking at the bank's Muradpur branch in Chittagong recently.
Head of Retail and SME Banking Division of the bank Md Kamruzzaman presented the keynote paper.
All managers, executives and concerned officers from DBBL branches in Chittagong region attended the workshop.
Abul Kashem pointed out that DBBL had a massive IT infrastructure consisting of on-line banking system, country's largest ATM network, modern POS network, internet banking, SMS and alert banking system.
He urged all employees of the bank to plan with help of the bank's IT infrastructure to improve the life-style of individuals and grow the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by financing retail and SME sectors respectively.
Kamruzzaman noted that DBBL had launched attractive asset and liability products for the retail and SME sectors. He explained various features and advantages of these products to find out the new investment opportunities.
