Thrust on store management knowledge

DCCI Vice President Kh Shahidul Islam called upon entrepreneurs and business executives Thursday to have proper knowledge of 'logistics, inventory and store management' to achieve long-term business success in the competitive global market.
The DCCI (Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry) leader was speaking at a certificate awarding ceremony of a training programme as the chief guest. The business body organised the training programme in the capital.
A total of 29 representatives from different prominent business organisations and individuals participated in the training course.
"Store management must see timely delivery of raw materials of proper quality at the factory. Store function is a vital part of every undertaking. It involves the activities of receiving, storing and issuing of materials, stores accounting and store verification", the DCCI leader noted.
