Thunderbolt kills 2 farmers

Thunderbolt killed two farmers at Ishwardi Upazila in Pabna district on Friday morning. The dead are Abdur Rahman Mollah, 51, a resident of Bayra village under Dashuria union and Abu Sayeed, 60, resident of Baghhasla village under Muladuli union. Family sources and witnesses said thunderbolt struck the two farmers when they were working in the field at different place but in the same time, leaving them injured critically. Locals rescued them and whisked them to their respective homes but they died on the way, according to a news agency.
