Tidal waves inundate low-lying areas in coastal dists

Tidal waves triggered by deep depression over the Bay of Bengal inundated low-lying areas in several coastal districts Wednesday. Ten villages in Koira under Khulna were submerged, as water entered the areas after a cross-dam along the Satbaria River collapsed at different points amid tidal waves Tuesday afternoon. — UNB
