Tigers disappoint again

Thursday, 19 June 2014

The Tigers have shocked us again. Despite bundling out the visiting Indian team for a paltry 105 runs they failed to cross the mark and became all out in 58 runs. Debutante Taskin took five wickets giving away only 28 runs. When the sport lovers of the country were salivating for an easy win, the Tigers batting line-up crumbled again and it is indeed unpardonable. The second One-day International was interrupted by heavy rain and was curtailed to 41 over.  It is understandable that the outcome of this match really frustrated the players and the fans alike.  Surely the Bangladesh cricket team is passing a low phase but they must ponder over it and come out of it and the sooner the better.  It was a golden opportunity for the Tigers to get back their lost confidence, but they spilled the chance again to the utter dismay of the common people. The batting line up failed to bat with responsibility and none of the batsmen, except Mithun and Mushfiq, could reach double digits. I hope the Tigers will turn the table around in the third and final ODI.
