Tigers' embarrassing test match score

Sunday, 8 July 2018

The Tigers were shockingly bundled out with a score of 43 runs in their first innings against West Indies in their first test in Antigua on Thursday night. The lack of fighting attitude that was reflecting through the scores pained lovers of the sport as the tigers meekly surrender one after another. The highest scorer was opener Liton Das who scored 25 runs from 53 balls. He was the lone batsman from Bangladesh who reached a two-digit score! Rubel was the second-best batsman scoring 6! The whole team was back at the pavilion within a mere 18.4 overs. When West Indies reached 85 without loss at tea, it was proved that the greenish pitch had no demon. It was the lowest innings total for Bangladesh in a test match. The west Indian fast bowler Kemar Roach's five-wicket haul dismissed Bangladesh and helped the home team tighten their firm grip on the Antigua Test. We can only hope that Bangladesh will learn from this defeat and play better in their future matches under the test format.
