Bangladesh have lost both openers in their chase of 318 runs to win against India in the third and final ODI in Mirpur.
At 17 overs, the Tigers were at 108 runs for 2 wickets.
Soumya Sarkar got the hosts off to a blazing start but fell when he failed to read a Dhawal Kulkarni slower and skied a catch to Ravichandran Ashwin at mid-on, bdnews24.com reported.
He hit five boundaries and two sixes as Bangladesh brought fifty up in the seventh over at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Tamim Iqbal went back early when Kulkarni trapped him in the front.
Liton Kumar Das and Mushfiqur Rahim were looking for a partnership for the Tigers.
