Bangladesh have gained one point following their 3-0 clean sweep against visiting Zimbabwe in the just concluded three-match ODI series at home.
Bangladesh are now seven points behind sixth ranked Australia which have 100 points, reports BSS.
The Tigers had 92 points before the start of this series. They gained one point from their performance in Asia Cup where they became runners-up.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh are 14 points ahead of number eight Sri Lanka (79).
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have lost one point from the tour which means they are 52 from 53, increasing the difference with no.10 Afghanistan's 67 which rank tenth.
England are still topping the ODI rankings table with 126 points. India are second with 122 points while New Zealand (112), South Africa (110) and Pakistan (101) are placed with third, fourth and fifth position respectively.
