Tigers\\\' ODI series win against South Africa

The whole country was literally ecstatic and erupted into big jubilation when the Tigers bagged an emphatic series victory against the formidable South Africans. It was such a brilliant all-round performance by the Tigers that it immediately drew attention of the international media. The world must now be convinced that Bangladesh is no longer a mere pushover but a power to reckon with and it can now take any team of the world on equal terms. This is the third series win in a row for the Tigers. Bangladesh won the series decider comprehensively and outplayed the visitors in every department of the game. The newly-developed bowling attack of the Tigers, spearheaded by the wonder boy Mustafizur, perplexed the Proteas and restricted them to a total of paltry 168 runs and the Bangladeshi batsmen displayed a superlative performance to win the match convincingly by 9 wickets with 13.5 overs to spare. It was a total team effort and everyone played his part efficiently. Mustafizur, Shakib, Rubel and Mashrafe's bowling gave nothing away for the Proteas. I am sure the ODI win will work as a tonic for the Tigers in the two Test matches. The series win against South Africa was an Eid bonus from the Tigers and the nation celebrated the Eid with a renewed pleasure and enthusiasm. Congratulations to the Tigers for making us feel great and proud.
