Tigers put Proteas in trouble

Mighty South Africa are batting on 155/8 in 44 overs against Bangladesh in their second match of the three-match National Polymer ODI Cricket Series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur here on Friday.
Mustafizur Rahman’s off-cutter jolted the visitors batting castle early at 16 runs in 4.1 overs claiming Quinton de Kock (2 off 9b), was caught by Sabbir Rahman, a news agency report said.
Pacer Rubel Hossain, who included in the squad to replace legspinner Jubair Hossain, bowled out the Proteas skipper-cum-opener Hashim Amala (22 off 37, 3X4) at team’s 45 for 2 in 12.1 overs.
All-rounder Nasir Hossain carried more bitter for the opponent bowling out number four batsman Rilee Rossouw (4 off 24b) at 59 for 3 in 18.1 overs.
Mahmudullah dismissed David Miller (9 off 24b) as he was caught by skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza at 74 for 4 in 23.5 overs.
On his way to the second-wicket haul, Nasir captured the big fish Faf du Plessis who scored highest 41 runs off 64 balls with three fours was caught by Soumya Sarkar as the scoreboard showing 93 for 5 in 28.3 overs for the visiting side.
Jean Paul Duminy and Farhaan Behardien were batting on scoring 10 and 1 runs respectively for the side.
South Africa began their batting after winning the toss with an unchanged eleven eying the series win. There is one change in Bangladesh squad Rubel Hossain replacing legspinner Jubair Hossain in the hope of tying South African down.
