Bangladesh National Cricket team returns home today (Wednesday) at 8:30am by an Emirates flight after a dismal performance in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20 England 2009, reports UNB.
Bangladesh team, which left Dhaka two weeks ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup to adjust with the English condition and hoped to reach at least the "super eight" stage, quit from the meet like Australia and Scotland losing both the group matches.
In the Group A matches, Bangladesh (155/8 in 20) conceded a 25-run defeat against holders India (180/5 in 20) and also suffered a shameful six-wicket defeat against non Test playing Ireland - Bangladesh (137/8 in 20) and Ireland (138/4 in 18.2), both at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
