Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets in the 2nd one-day international (ODI) of the three-match series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.
Liton Das and Imrul Kayes led the Tigers’ chase of Zimbabwe's 246. But after Liton and Fazle Mahmud departed, Imrul Kayes fell in the nervous nineties. However, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun steadied the innings as the Tigers romped to a seven-wicket win to clinch the ODI series.
Mushfiqur Rahim struck a 52-ball 40 while Mithun, who struck 24, finished the game off with a six.
Saifuddin in the Tigers’ camp was the pick of the bowlers, bagging three wickets. He was adjudged man of the match.
