The Bangladesh cricketers have begun training to prepare for their busy international cricket schedule, reports BSS.
Bangladesh will play a number of matches across all three formats this year, starting with the white-ball home series against New Zealand.
The Black Caps will arrive in Bangladesh on April 13 for three ODIs and an equal number of T20 Internationals.
Following the Eid-ul-Fitr vacation, 37 players joined the national team's camp in Mirpur on Friday. Players of all three formats attended, except for six players-Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Parvez Hossain Emon, Rishad Hossain, Nahid Rana, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim-who are currently busy with the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
All-rounders SM Meherob Hasan and Abdul Gaffar Saqlain from the High-Performance Unit, along with domestic regulars Ruyel Miah and Mosaddek Hossain, who has not played for Bangladesh since 2022, were also present.
However, the Test players will remain in the camp until April 16 before leaving for the first-class competition, the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL), which starts on April 21.
White-ball players will stay in the camp until April 13. The ODI squad will kick off a three-match home series against New Zealand on April 17 in Dhaka.
The T20I squad, meanwhile, will have a separate camp for the three-match T20I series against the Kiwis, which will begin on April 27.
