Tigers take on Lankan \\\'Lions\\\' in 1st T20 match today

The Tigers will take on the Lankan ‘Lions’ in the first of their two Twenty20 International cricket matches at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong this (Wednesday) afternoon. The day-night encounter will start at 5:00 pm and will be broadcast live on Maasranga Television, a private TV channel. There is a chance that star Sri Lanka batsman Mahela Jayawardene will be rested after the right-hander hurt a finger on his right hand during catching practice on Tuesday. The hosts, who will have one eye on the ICC World T20 while playing this 20-over-a side matches, are without their regular captain Mushfiqur Rahim who has been rested due to a finger injury. Pacer Mashrafe bin Mortaza will the Bangladesh team, according to a news agency.
