Tin Bigha Corridor to remain open for polling periods

LALMONIRHAT, Dec 19 (bdnews24.com): The Tin Bigha Corridor will remain open for four days in total over the Jatiya Sangsad and Upazila Parishad election periods.
The Corridor is a strip of land on the West Bengal-Bangladesh border for access to Bangladesh's Dohogram-Angorpota enclave in India.
The corridor will remain open a day prior to each election and on both voting days, scheduled for Dec. 29 and Jan. 22 respectively, Col Aftabul Islam, Rangpur BDR sector commander said Thursday.
