Titas Gas snaps 10 connections

A special team of the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited disconnected 10 commercial and domestic gas connections in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Mymensingh for adopting unfair means. The Titas monitoring team scrutinised a total of 519 gas connections of 256 CNG stations, 97 industries, 165 captive power plants and one domestic user during a drive from April 3 to April 24, said a press release. The team disconnected 10 gas connections on the spot for manipulating gas-meter and using gas in more than approved installations. Among the disconnected connections, there are five CNG stations, one industry, three captive power plants and one domestic gas user.
