Tk 0.5m stolen from money exchange

Thieves took away Tk 0.5 million from a money exchange office at Janapad crossing in the city's Jatrabari area Friday night. Police said some thieves entered the office by breaking its lock at midnight and took away the money. Owner Chand Miah said all his employees left the office after shutting down it Thursday night. As Friday was holiday, the employees found the lock of the office broken when they came to open it Saturday morning. —UNB
