Tk 1m Indian goods seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in a drive seized Indian goods worth Tk 1 million at Benapole union in Sharsha Upazila in Jessore on Friday. Being tipped off, a team of BGB-26 conducted a drive at Amrakhali of Benapole and recovered Indian saris, three-pieces, cumin, tea, Phensidyl syrup, liquor, cosmetics, imitation jewelry, automobile parts and cream worth Tk 1.02m in the early morning, said Deputy Commanding Officer of BGB-26 Battalion Mohammad Liakat Ali, according to a news agency.
