Tk 2.21 billion transacted thru\\\' MFS every day

About 1.0 million (10 lakh) transactions worth more than Tk 2.21 billion were taking place every day through the micro-finance services (MFS) bKash, Mobile Money and M-Cash, said Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Atiur Rahman Friday. "Key players in the MFS field are bKash, DBBL's Mobile Money and the M-Cash of IBBL with 13.2 million customers who have registered with about 200 thousand (2 lakh) agents nationwide accounting for more than 1.0 million transactions worth more than Tk 2.21 billion per day," he said at a discussion on 'Mobile Financial Services Consumers Insights' in the city. — UNB
