Tk 300m mobile sets seized

Dhaka Customs officials seized on Thursday 15,000  mobile phone sets worth Tk 300 million (Tk 30 crore) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Based on a tip-off a team of Dhaka Customs seized the mobile phone sets around 5:00 pm. The sets were brought to the country from Hong Kong, according to customs officials.  "The seized mobile phones are of different renowned brands such as Samsung and Sony companies," assistant commissioner of customs Md Shahiduzzaman Sarcar told reporters.     — FE Report
