Tk 3.0m looted from expat\\\'s house

SYLHET, Dec 5: Robbers looted valuables worth Tk 3.0 million (30 lakh) from the house of a Saudi expatriate at Palpur village in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj district early Thursday. Sources said a gang of robbers, numbering 10/12, swooped on the house of Liton Mia, a Saudi expatriate, breaking open the lock of the main gate and kept the house inmates hostage at gunpoint at the dead of night.— UNB
