Tk 6.1m Indian saris seized in Ctg

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard seized Indian saris worth about Tk 6.1 million from Mansurabad under Double Mooring police station of the port city of Chittagong Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Coast Guard under East Zone conducted a drive in the area at about 10:30am, according to a news agency.
The law enforcers challenged a truck and found 2,050 pieces of Indian saris searching it, sources at the Coast Guard headquarters said.
They also detained the truck. Later, truck was handed over to department concerned for legal action.
