Tk 730m BKB loan for Narsingdi

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Narsingdi region has taken up a plan to distribute Taka 730 million as agricultural loans among farmers of the district during the current fiscal year. Official sources said, as part of the plan the Bank have already disbursed Taka 25 million among the 246 farmers through its 21 branches of the district till August 31. Deputy General Manager of BKB Narsingdi region Gokul Chandra Roy said that the bank is providing loan for crop cultivation, pisciculture, livestock sector, poultry farm, purchase of agriculture equipments, small trading and marketing of agricultural products, according to a news agency.
