Tk 860b earmarked for ADP in new budget

The total size of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) in the proposed national budget for the fiscal 2014-15 amounted to Tk 860 billion incorporating own financing projects of the autonomous bodies of Tk 568.5 billion. The actual ADP size, however, stood at Tk 803.15 billion without own financing of the corporations and autonomous bodies. The size of the revised ADP in the outgoing fiscal year stood at Tk 600 billion, down from the original outlay of Tk 658.70 billion. The government started incorporating the development schemes of the autonomous organisations in the ADP from FY13. While placing the proposed budget for FY 15 in parliament on Thursday, Muhith said, according to a news agency.
