Tofail in Seoul

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed reached South Korean capital Seoul on Sunday, an official of the ministry has said. The Commerce Minister left Dhaka for Seoul on Saturday night to attend the ‘Korea Foundation Programme’ there. A 29-member trade delegation from Bangladesh comprising leaders of business bodies including Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI) will also attend the event. During the visit, the Commerce Minister will attend a roundtable on Bangladesh-Korea trade relations. Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Executive Chairman Maj Gen M Habibur Rahman Khan is accompanying the Commerce Minister. Tofail Ahmed is expected to return home on September 28, according to a news agency.
