Tofazzal elected chairman, Nawab vice-chairman of Islami Insurance

The board of directors of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited unanimously elected Tofazzal Hossain chairman and re-elected Md Ismail Nawab vice-chairman of the company at its 108th board meeting held in its head office in the city recently.
New Chairman Tofazzal Hossain is the immediate-past chairman of National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd. He is also chairman of National Life Insurance Co Ltd.
Tofazzal Hossain is actively associated with a number of non-political organisations and educational institutions.
He also contributes to different newspapers and periodicals with his writings on miscellaneous events.
Md Ismail Nawab who comes of a respectable Muslim family of Bangshal area, is a renowned businessman of Old Dhaka. He is actively associated with various religious and social welfare organisations.
