Tokai Kabaddi begins tomorrow

The 2nd Orient Bread Tokai Kabaddi Competition, organised by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city with two matches on the opening day.
On the opening day, Tokai Mirpur will play Tokai Gulistan at 4 pm while Tokai Stadium meets Tokai Goran at 4:30 pm.
Nine teams of `tokai' (street urchin) will take part in the five-day meet, sponsored by Orient Bread.
The competition will be initially held on league basis. Later, three top teams will play in the `super three' final round. The champion and runners-up teams will receive cash prizes.
Sponsors Orient Bread will bear the entire budget of Tk 120,000 for the competition.
Kabaddi Federation General Secretary Nazrul Islam disclosed the details at a press conference at the National Sports Council (NSC) conference room Sunday afternoon.
Orient Bread chairman Mohammad Mahbubuzzaman and Tournament Committee Chairman SMA Mannan were present.
Teams: Tokai Jatrabari, Tokai Matuail, Tokai Dhalpur, Tokai Goran, Tokai Khilgaon, Tokai Mirpur, Tokai Stadium, Tokai Gulistan and Tokai Paltan.
