Toki murder Hunger strike observed

NARAYANGANJ, Feb 7 (UNB): Santrash Nirmul Toki Mancha observed a token hunger strike at the Central Shaheed Minar in the city Friday demanding capital punishment of the killers of the schoolboy.
The Toki Mancha arranged the three-hour hunger strike from 9:00 am marking 11 months into the killing of Tanvir Ahmed Toki. The striking activists ended the strike at 12:00 noon by seeping drinks offered by Toki's mother Rawnak Jahan.
Meanwhile, a tense situation prevailed in the Shaheed Minar area as activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League took position in the area before the strike began.
