Tokyo stocks down

Tokyo stocks tumbled 2.30 per cent on Wednesday morning as the yen rose against the dollar and following losses on Wall Street. The Nikkei 225 index slipped 332.39 points to 14,125.12 by the break while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 2.17 per cent, or 25.63 points, at 1,156.85, according to AFP.
