Tokyo trade fair fetches $3.29m export orders

A number of Bangladesh companies have received export orders worth US$ 3.29 million (32.9 lakh) at the Bangladesh Single Country Trade Fair held in Japan on October 22-25. Of the companies, five received spot orders worth $ 1.0 million while nine others received prospective orders worth $ 2.29 million for leather shoes and handicrafts, jute handicrafts, bed cushion and ready-made garments . —UNB
