Toll on more highways

Vehicles will now have to pay toll for using national, regional and district highways under Roads and Highways Department (RHD) of the Ministry of Communications, Bangladesh. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting in the city on Monday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting. Currently, motorists pay toll for using bridges and two highways. Cabinet approval will not be needed to implement this guideline and its implementation will depend on the Roads & Highways Department, according to bdnews24.com.
