Toni closes in on AS Roma move

ROME, Dec 29 (AFP): Bayern Munich's out-of-favour Italian World Cup winner Luca Toni revealed Monday he is close to a move to Serie A club AS Roma.
"I only want AS Roma. Nothing else interests me," the player told Gazzetto dello Sport.
And Roma director Gian Paolo Montali added: "We're ironing out the details.
"It's clear that in business nothing is certain until the signing, but with Toni we're nearly there. With him Roma can have an extraordinarly second half of the season."
