Tourist killed by speed boat in Cox\\\'s Bazar

A tourist has died after being hit by a speed boat while swimming in sea in Cox’s Bazar. Police have arrested 'Ziabul', who was driving the speedboat when it hit Tajul Islam, 25, at Laboni Point in the Bay near Cox's Bazar beach, the world's longest sea beach, on Sunday morning. Tajul hailed from Bogra district and was on vacation in Cox's Bazar with two friends. His friend Jashim Uddin, who was on the trip with him, said Tajul was studying law at a private university in Dhaka.
Tajul was taken to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital after he was hit by the speed boat, said Cox’s Bazar Police OC Zakir Hossain Mahmud. He died there around 11:30am, said the OC, according to bdnews24.com.
