Toxic gas kills 2 in Barisal

BARISAL, Aug 6 (BSS): Two construction workers died while working in a septic tank at Durgapur village under Mehendiganj upazila of the district Wednesday noon.
The victims were Jahangir Khan, 45, and Abdul Jalil, 45, of Yearbeg village of the upazila.
Police sources said the workers fell sick due to toxic gas emitting from the septic tank of a house in the area.
Jahangir and Jalil were taken to Mehendiganj Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared them dead.
The bodies were sent to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue.
