Toxic gas kills 2 in Cox’s Bazar

Two construction workers died after inhaling toxic gas inside a septic tank in Chakaria municipality area on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Liton Miah, 28 and Arif Hossain, 32. Acting in-charge of Chakaria Fire Service said they rescued Liton and Arif in an unconscious condition from the septic tank of the under-construction building of expatriate Hasan Ali at Moghbazar around 5:30pm. They were rushed to hospital where doctors declared them dead, according to a news agency.
