Toyota keen to invest in EPZs

A delegation of Toyota Tsusho Corporation expressed their keen interest to invest in the export processing zones (EPZs) of Bangladesh, according to a press release.
The interest was expressed when a three-member investment delegation from Toyota Tsusho Corporation led by its General Manager Yasuhiro Miura visited Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) in the city Wednesday.
BEPZA Executive Chairman Brig Gen Jamil Ahmed Khan briefed the delegation on the activities of BEPZA and present status of EPZs of Bangladesh.
He also highlighted the fiscal and non-fiscal incentives provided by BEPZA and requested the delegation to explore the investment opportunity in the EPZs of Bangladesh.
The team appreciated the activities of BEPZA.
BEPZA General Manager (Investment Promotion) AZM Azizur Rahman was also present at the meeting.
