Trade depends on functional knowledge about import and indenting procedures.
Md Zahurul Alam, additional secretary and chief controller (Imports and Exports) of the Ministry of Commerce said this while addressing as the chief guest the concluding session of a five-day training course on 'Import and Indenting Procedures' Wednesday.
Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA) organised the course in its conference room in the city. "The course will equip the participants with advanced knowledge about procedures to operate business professionally," Zahurul Alam added.
BIAA president Shabbir Ahmed Khan and Senior Vice-president MS Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion.
Chief Executive Officer of Bangla Chemical MS Siddiqui, Proprietor of Farco Syndicate Sheikh Md Farid, AFM Obaidur Rahman of Padma Life Insurance Company Ltd, Chairman of Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation Khandker A Salam and Senior Faculty member of Sonali Bank Staff College Monawara Begum conducted the traning course as resource persons. Later, the chief guest distributed certificates among the participants.
