Trade fair begins in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON, Aug 13 (BSS): A month-long trade fair organised by the district chamber began on Zila School premises of the district Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner of the district Shafayet Hossain inaugurated the fair with SM Osman in the chair.
District army camp chief Lt Col Belayet Hossain Khan, deputy chief Maj ATM Anisuzzaman, Police Super Masudul Hasan and Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Zaidul Hasan spoke on the occasion, among others.
A total of 90 stalls to showcase agriculture, cottage industry and handloom products have been set up on the fair premises.
