Trade team to visit Malaysia in Nov to explore mkt for Bangladesh products

A trade delegation will visit Malaysia in November this year to explore the possibility and market potential for Bangladeshi products as well as to identify the areas for investment in joint venture and export of Bangladeshi goods in Malaysia.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Vice-chairman Md Sbahab Ullah disclosed this at a meeting at the EPB conference room in the city Wednesday.
EPB and Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly organised the meeting, which followed by a mini-exhibition.
Malaysian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Dato Abdul Melek bin Abdul Aziz and Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Motlub Ahmed attended the function.
Representatives from different chambers, trade associations, EPB officials and exhibitors were also present on the occasion.
According to the press release, during the visit of the proposed trade delegation to Malaysia came up for discussion in the meeting.
Steps and measures that need to be adopted were thoroughly discussed in the meeting and some specific guidelines were identified in order to make the proposed visit of Bangladesh trade team to Malaysia and the exhibition of Bangladeshi exportable in Malaysia a success.
At the end of the meeting, EPB vice-chairman, Malaysian High Commissioner and all members visited the mini-conference room of the EPB to see the products, which will be displayed in the exhibition of Bangladeshi exportable to be organised soon in Malaysia.
The Malaysian High Commissioner and other visitors highly appreciated the initiative and added that this venture would certainly help to reduce the trade gap between the two friendly countries.
