Two terrorists were arrested with a revolver while they were fleeing after killing a jhut (scrap cloths) trader on RM Das Road in the city's Sutrapur area Thursday afternoon. Witnesses said a gang of muggers, numbering three to four, intercepted jhut trader Ahmed Ali on RM Das Road at about 3:45 pm while he was going to his brother's shop-Ma Engineering Workshop-from his house. "As the gang demanded all of his belongings, Ahmed Ali tried to resist them. At one stage of scuffle, the terrorists shot him in the head," said a spot account of the incident. Critically injured Ahmed Ali alias Chhoto Babu (34), was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead. — UNB
