Trading resumes in Bangladesh's twin-bourse on Tuesday morning. SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), the regulators, have said share trading at the country’s two stock exchanges will resume at 10:30am today after a straight six-day holiday that began on July 15. The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) went for an about a week-long vacation from July 15 to 20 for Holy Shab-e-Qadr and Holy Eid-ul-Fitr. All the official activities and the trading will be back to the usual business within a few minutes. The trading hours will be from 10:30am to 2:30pm and office hours will be from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Both DSE and CSE ended the last trading session before Eid upward on July 14, with the broader DSEX closing at 4656.13 points. The CSE also finished the pre-Eid session upward when its major CSCX index gained 43.60 points to close at 8713.72. At the last pre-festival session investors showed relatively higher activities, taking both the indices and the daily transaction up, according to a news agency.
