Traffic signaling : Optimistic start

The enforcement of the new traffic management system with automatic signaling lights and different paths for the movement of different types of vehicles, have already led to notable improvement in traffic movement. It only goes to show that if realistic steps are taken and the same enforced vigorously, then the traffic movement can improve even before such capital intensive projects like flyovers and elevated expressways are built.
The latest measures have created some comfort in traffic movement on the VIP roads. The same must now be extended to all tertiary roads to get the maximum benefits.
