Train bogie catches fire

A bogie of an inter-city train caught fire at Kamalapur Railway Station in the city on Tuesday. Sources at the Fire Service Central Control Room said the compartment of ‘Parabat Express’ kept at the platform-3 went up in flames at about 2:57 pm. Four firefighting units rushed in and doused the blaze around 3:50pm, said duty officer at the control room Bhajan Kumar, according to a news agency.
