Train crash kills 1 in C’nawabganj

An unidentified middle-aged man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Hirupara in Gomastapur upazila of Chapainawabganj on Saturday. Gomastapur stationmaster M Shahidullah said the accident took place around 5pm when a Rohanpur-bound train from Rajshahi hit the man, aged around 45, from behind at Rohanpur-Golabari station, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, railway police recovered the body, according to a news agency.
