Train hits car in city: 2 injured

At least two persons were injured when a train rammed a private car and a cycle rickshaw on Khilgaon level crossing (rail gate) in the city on Thursday. Witnesses said a commuter train hit a car and a rickshaw around 10:30am, as the car came in front of the train after breaking through the gates on the level crossing. Drivers of the car and the rickshaw-puller suffered minor injuries in the accident, they said, adding that the car was badly damaged. Identities of the injured could not be known, according to a news agency.
