Train links disrupted for 10 hours

MYMENSINGH, July 24 (BSS) : Train communications on several routes from Mymensingh were disrupted for about 10 hours as two goods-laden compartments of a Chittagong-bound train from Mymensingh station derailed at Balashpur in the district Friday morning.
No casualties were reported in the accident, police and railway sources said.
Rail communications of Mymensingh-Chittagong, Mymensingh-Mohanganj, Mymensingh-Kishoreganj, Mymensingh-Bhairab and Mymensingh-Jaria routes were disrupted, said the sources.
The accident halted the scheduled journey of some 12 trains to various stations causing immense sufferings to passengers.
