Training course on medicinal plants held

A training programme on cultivation and primary processing of exportable medicinal plants was held at Naria in Shariatpur on Saturday.
Bangladesh Herbal Products Manufacturing Association (BHMPA) and Business Promotion Council (BPC), an apex organisation of the commerce ministry, jointly organised the programme.
Md. Rasheduzzaman, assistant commissioner (land), Naria, Shariatpur was present as the chief guest, says a press release.
Dr Alamgir Mati, president of Bangladesh Herbal Products Manufacturing Association (BHMPA), presided over the programme.
Zakir Hossain Bepari, vice chairman of Naria Poursava, AKM Monjurul Haq Akanda, officer-in-charge of Naria Thana, and Hannan Soiyal, councilor of Naria Poursava, among others, were present as special guests.
More than 120 participants took part in the training programme.
